Meet the Weaver Family!
They were in town visiting from Maryland and asked me to shoot a family session for them in San Francisco. Amanda is an incredibly talented wedding photographer and was also in need of a few headshots for her business, so we threw a few of those in as well 😉 We shot at the beautiful Palace of Fine Arts and WOW- the location is breathtaking! If you haven’t been….GO. It’s seriously gorgeous!
Meet the Brane Family! One of my good friends in the area contacted me about booking a session for her brother and sister-in-law, who were in town visiting from Africa. I was so excited to meet them and hear more about their family and the time they were enjoying with family and friends in the states. We spent the morning on a college campus nearby and had a great time capturing their personalities on camera. Their three kids are just beautiful and the entire family was so relaxed, making my job easy during this session! Thanks Brane Family for letting me capture your current season of life on camera. Praying that the remaining time you have in the states is full of rest, precious moments with your friends and family, and sweet memories to bring with you back to your home in Africa!
I absolutely loved getting to meet this sweet family! They contacted me about taking some photos of their son who had recently turned one year old. We decided to meet up at a park nearby for some outdoor shots and then finished the session at their house with a fun cake smash! 🙂 The weather was beautiful and this sweet, little guy was beyond adorable! I mean look at those eyes!!
So let me start by saying that I think this might be one of my favorite sessions to date.
There’s just something about capturing a family in the comfort of their own home. It just feels so natural and honest…cozy and comfortable. It was super refreshing to me, and I loved watching this sweet family play and read and laugh together! It was a normal day in their home and they were doing the things that they always do. This makes for precious photos that are real and true to the particular season of life that they’re in.

This sweet boy…I mean seriously…is he not absolutely adorable?!
His momma is one of my dear friends and today we kept her boys while she and her husband went on a date. The big kids were napping, and so I had a little time with this precious one and couldn’t resist a mini photo session in my living room! I just got my new camera…the afternoon light was dreamy…and this little smiling face was looking at me. How could I pass that up?!
You guys…this family. They are seriously some of the most genuine, kind and welcoming people that I’ve ever met. Sara and I meet for coffee on Friday mornings and I have absolutely loved getting to know her and her amazing family. Their 3 daughters were hysterical during our session and kept me laughing the entire time! We totally bribed them with chocolate…and it absolutely worked! 🙂 They were smiling from ear to ear, ready to earn whatever candy they could get! Haha!

Goodness…I’m finally getting around to blogging from a fun, family session I did back in December! The sweet Mathai family…seriously…aren’t they the cutest?! I’m in a bible study with Rachel and I have loved getting to know her and her family! They were a joy to work with and made my job so much fun and incredibly easy! I really wish I had some behind the scene shots of Rachel trying to make her kids smile and laugh…let’s just say the “Whip and Nae Nae” dance was involved! Haha! Thanks for asking me to take your Christmas photos, Mathai family! You guys are awesome!
I would love to introduce you to my precious nephew, Parker. I had the opportunity to document his birth for my sister and brother-in-law and I loved getting to capture this sweet time for them! My sister did amazing and I’m so thankful that I got to be a part of this special day!
The Archers contacted me to take some family photos for them in their beautiful home. Their daughter was beyond precious and oh my goodness- do you see her eyes?! BEAUTIFUL!! They were all so natural in front of the camera and had so much fun playing as a family while I just snapped away!
Two of our closest friends, Scott and Brooke Bartlow are expecting a sweet baby girl in March! The two of them were just glowing during this fun maternity session and I loved capturing such a sweet season in their lives!
Scott and Brooke, I am so happy for you guys and I can’t wait to meet precious Faith! You will make such WONDERFUL parents!!
