This beautiful couple decided to celebrate their one year wedding anniversary with a family photo session! What a fun idea, right?!

Chelsea came to our session with several ideas of photos that she really wanted to take, one of which involved reading notes that their friends and family had written them at their wedding a year earlier.

On their wedding day, they had their guests “sign” their guestbook by writing words of advice on slips of paper. These words were kept in wine bottles for them to read at a later date. They have bottles filled with advice for their 1 year, 5 year, 10 year anniversaries, and I had the privilege of capturing the 1 year reading on camera. It was the sweetest…and I felt honored to be a part of it!

This couple was seriously the sweetest! They won a free session through an Instagram giveaway that I hosted back in July where I was looking for a family, couple or individual to gift a photo session to during the months of September or October. After reading their entry, I was excited to choose them!

We spent an evening exploring at Russian Ridge and oh goodness…that place is amazing! As the the sun set, the light just kept getting more and more beautiful, and by the end of the evening…BE STILL MY HEART!!! The sky was a gorgeous red…it was just breathtaking!

I loved getting to spend some time with this sweet family at Baker Beach! The morning was filled with sunshine, warm temps and cute little moments caught on camera. These folks really made my job a breeze!!
