Brittany

Brittany graduates from high school this year and is going to college in Michigan in the fall. She wanted to give her mom a gift before she left for school and asked if I would be willing to take her senior photos as a surprise! (So thoughtful, right?!) Brittany radiates joy and made this session SO much fun!

Newborn

Faith

I had so much fun shooting my very first newborn session with precious little Faith! The whole “newborn photography world” is all new to me and I have to say I LOVED every minute of my time with Faith! SheΒ was so alert during our session and had no intention of going to sleep…despite how heavy her little eyelids were getting! πŸ™‚ She just couldn’t miss out on what was going on around her!! Right before our session ended, she finally closed her eyes, so I was able to catch a few sleepy shots! πŸ™‚ Isn’t she just perfect?!

Bieschke Family

Meet the Bieschke family! They are awesome…seriously…if you don’t know them, you should! I’ve had the privilege of watching their kids for the past few years and have loved getting to know their family! We shot this fun session at a barn that Annie had seen near their house! It was beautiful and gave some fun backdrops for their family photos!

Fogleman Wedding

In August, I traveled to beautiful Cancun, Mexico to shoot the wedding of one of my very best friends! I’ve known Kenzi for over 7 years, and I cannot begin to explain how happy I am for her and Mark! Their story began in Mexico and so it seemed perfect to tie the knot there as well! The entire weekend was so much fun and I loved getting to be a part of it!

The first few photos are from the rehearsal the night before the wedding, and the following are from the actual wedding day. Oh and did I mention there was a HUGE thunderstorm that came through as we were taking wedding photos on the beach?! Great memories and cute umbrella photos totally made up for it! πŸ™‚

Congratulations Kenzi & Mark! Thanks so much for asking me to shoot your beautiful wedding day- I absolutely LOVED being there!!

Kunde Wedding

This sweet couple tied the knot back in July and I loved shooting their special day! They had an outdoor ceremony at a golf course nearby, and the weather was absolutely perfect for the event! They were such a fun couple and their wedding party had me laughing the entire day-not to mention their adorable puppy who served as the “ring-bearer” in the ceremony! Congratulations Drew & Nikki! Thanks for letting me be a part of your big day!

(Also, a HUGE thank you to Emily Burchard for helping me shoot this wonderful wedding! Thanks so much for helping me out!!)

Family Newborn

Campbell Jane

So over the summer, my sister and brother-in-law were preparing to meet their sweet baby girl. She was due at the end of June and they asked me if I would be willing to photograph the birth. I’m not going to lie, I was a little nervous at first about being in the room during such a personal time for them. But as the day quickly approached, I couldn’t wait to be there!!

On June 26 at 3:09PM my precious niece Campbell was born! My sister was seriously amazing-she handled the day with such ease! Not to mention my brother-in-law, who was by her side the whole time. It was such a sweet day, filled with awesome moments and memories that I feel lucky to have experienced!

Congratulations Jenny and Aaron on your newest addition, miss Campbell Jane! πŸ™‚ Thanks for letting me be a part of this incredible day!!

El Salvador

My husband and I had the opportunity to travel to El Salvador last month and work with a group of high school students and leaders from our church. Our job was to assist a small community in El Ranchador, El Salvador in building a medical clinic. This was extremely hard work! Our team shoveled dirt (which was a mixture between clay and rock), pushed wheel barrels, and mixed and poured cement at the worksite. Our group also spent some time working with the children at the Compassion International School in the community! We played games, used face paint, and of course took lots of photos! πŸ™‚ It was an incredible trip, and I’m so thankful that I had the opportunity to learn from and build relationships with the people in El Ranchador!
