First off, I’m a wife to my best friend and the love of my life, Adam. We’ve been married for 16 years and I absolutely love doing life with him. I’m a mom to the three most incredible kids ever, and they bring more joy into my world than I could have ever imagined possible!
I’m an Oklahoma native, currently living in the San Francisco Bay Area in California. Life is good on the west coast and our family is incredibly grateful to live where we can spend time outdoors year round! We are warm-weathered souls, so California definitely fits!
I received my first DSLR as a gift from my husband when we decided to travel overseas to South Africa in the summer of 2011. We would be traveling to Africa to spend time with children who had been orphaned due to the AIDS epidemic and I had a huge desire to document what we saw and experienced. I believe that sometimes, stories and experiences can only be told through a photograph and I knew that our time in Africa would be full of precious moments that I wanted to share with others.
After returning home, my passion for photography grew and I continued to learn about the art of sharing a story through my lens. I love being able to capture those life moments that you just want to freeze and hold on to forever- those seasons of life that you never want to forget.
