My husband and I had the opportunity to travel to El Salvador last month and work with a group of high school students and leaders from our church. Our job was to assist a small community in El Ranchador, El Salvador in building a medical clinic. This was extremely hard work! Our team shoveled dirt (which was a mixture between clay and rock), pushed wheel barrels, and mixed and poured cement at the worksite. Our group also spent some time working with the children at the Compassion International School in the community! We played games, used face paint, and of course took lots of photos! 🙂 It was an incredible trip, and I’m so thankful that I had the opportunity to learn from and build relationships with the people in El Ranchador!
